GOSSIP CORNER: Jay Cutler Sent Kristin Cavallari’s Engagement Ring in the Mail!
Did Jay Cutler give new meaning to the expression “mail order bride”?
According to TerezOwens.com, E Online states that Kristin Cavallari admitted Chicago Bear QB Cutler mailed over her engagement ring. Apparently, she said: “we were texting and somehow it came up, like, ‘Oh, shall we get married?’ We’re like, ‘Yeah, OK.’ And then he sent my ring in the mail. So I actually had my ring sitting at home for a couple of weeks before I put it on.”

Yesterday, she posted on Twitter that this WAS true (she publicly stood her ground over her verified account, so it must be realz!). However, Cavallari confirms that Cutler physically asked for her hand in marriage the traditional way – on an excursion to Cabo (if only that were a universal ritual for the rest of us single gals). She also reminds fans (and foes) that you shan’t believe everything they read because the media (ahem) always twists words, and you don’t really know what’s going on behind closed doors.
Texting a proposal, really? Jay, that’s worse than a text message breakup – even if you do have a long-distance relationship. Then you mail over her engagement ring? You’re going two for two, Jay – but this is no football game. Yet, somehow you’re still winning.
