GOSSIP CORNER: Katherine Webb Poses Alongside Kate Upton In Star-Studded Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue
It’s that time of year, boys and gals! The most anticipated Sports Illustrated issue has finally arrived and Kate Upton may be gracing the cover for the second consecutive year but Katherine Webb is the one causing all the stir. Webb is coming straight from the stands of the BCS National Championship game to the pages of Sports Illustrated and into living rooms all over America.
The ‘Bama Bombshell and former Miss Alabama became an overnight sensation when Brent Musburger admired her beauty at the game. AJ McCarron’s girlfriend became one of the most searched women on the web and gained thousands of Twitter followers overnight. Her instant fame got her invited to shoot with the magazine and now Katherine Webb fans are able to see her super sexy yet classy and extremely playful photo-shoot for the SI Swimsuit issue.
Webb shot a series of football inspired photos for the magazine, ones we are sure will be hanging up in AJ McCarron’s locker in no time. We can see her sporting her boyfriend’s jersey and bikini bottom in one photo, laying on his football helmet in another and of course a photo of her playing the role of a cheerleader like we saw her do during the championship game . However our favorite photo of the shoot has to be her in the Auburn- Alabama split jersey. Being an Auburn alum yet dating the star quarterback of Alabama has definitely stirred some drama in the rivalry among the two Alabama schools.
McCarron tweeted his support and love for his girlfriend last night while receiving hundreds of tweets on how stunning she looked. Meanwhile Upton tweeted photos of the girls hanging out backstage at David Letterman.
With Kate Upton, Katherine Webb and John Legend’s girlfriend, Chrissy Teigen, all being featured alongside many other beauties, we are sure this edition will sell out shortly. Roll Tide Roll!
