SBOTD Presents: Brittany Pfeiffer, BDB Writer
21 Questions about Brittany:
1) In three words, how would your friends describe you?
Diva, Sassy, Embarrassing
2) Who are your favorite athletes or sports teams to watch?
Hands down the New York Yankees. Being in the stadium for a game is what I live for. Anyone who says baseball is boring obviously does not understand the process behind every pitch and play.
3) Peanut butter: crunchy or smooth?
Both. I like to spice it up.
4) I love BDB/SBOTD but I pay my bills by:
Well as a broke college student, my parents help a little when it comes to by bills. ( Hey mom can you pay my electric bill this month?) But between being a full time student and interning, I pay my bills (most of them) by working at a hair salon. No I am not a stylist I am Beauty Advisor. Just a fancy term for someone who knows everything there is to know about hair gel, hairspray and shampoo.
5) What’s in your DVD collection and /or what’s your favorite book?
I hate chick flicks. Shocking coming from a girl but id rather get a root canal than watch the Notebook. Scary movies are my favorite and the mask from scream still haunts me 16 years later. I quote Sandlot and the Hangover on a day-to-day basis.
6) What song do you sing at karaoke- or would you sing if you had to?
Would I sing soberly? NO. Would I sing after a couple rounds of Tequila? All night. I would probably pick Call Me Maybe because I could just turn my embarrassment into a pick up line right? Hey I just met you and this is crazy…..

7) If you won a million dollars in a lottery, what would you do with it?
….I have a Michael Kors and expensive shoe addiction.
8) If you could interview any athlete who would it be and why?
Paul Bissonnette. Without a doubt he is the funniest guy in the league.
9)Is there a motto, saying or core truth you try to live by?
“Some women choose to follow men, and some women choose to follow their dreams. If you’re wondering which way to go, remember that your career will never wake up and tell you that it doesn’t love you anymore.” – Lady Gaga
10) If you could be a fly on the wall in any sports team locker room, which would it be and why?
Tough decision but I would have to go with the Buffalo Sabres. I have actually been in their locker room and have pictures to prove it, but an empty locker room is not as exciting as one filled with hockey players!
11) Are you single, dating, or locked down? What do you notice first about the opposite sex?
Refer to my answer to question 9 for my opinion on dating. HAHA I am single. I mingle from time to time but a guy would have to be a saint to handle me. I have a weakness for an excellent dresser, ( NO JORTS aka jean shorts) perfect smile, and an accent.
12) What’s your idea of a perfect date?
Baseball game and beer followed by eloping to Vegas. Like a Britney Spears 55 hr marriage. Come on guys spontaneity is fun!

13)What has been your proudest accomplishment to date and what are your goals for the future?
My proudest accomplishment to date would probably be everything I have done relating to school. I made the decision to move away from home for school and it was the best decision I could have made. I do miss my family but being on my own and learning to rely on my self and not my parents has made me grow into a stronger person. My ultimate goal is to work promotions and marketing for game day production for a MLB team.
14)Name something you do when you’re alone that you wouldn’t do in front of others?
Nothing. No shame in my game.
15) What are your three biggest pet peeves?
Fake Uggs, girls who do not know the difference between a strike and a touch down and people who touch my hair without asking.
16) If you had a round trip ticket to any destination in the world, where would you go and why?
Well since Buffalo had its first snow fall this week I would probably say somewhere hot and tropical but realistically I hate weather above 80 degrees so I would find a map, close my eyes, throw a dart and go where ever it lands!
17) What advice would you give to your 16-year-old self?
Do not worry that the captain of the football isn’t giving you a second glance. By the time you hit junior year of college he would have graduated a 2 yr community college, still living in his parents basement and WILL annoying message you on Facebook.
18) What’s your most memorable moment as a sports fan?
I grew up down in Florida right outside of Orlando. Right down the street from my house used to be the Kansas City Royals spring training camp. I used to go to games with my dad all the time. I will always remember the one game that they played the Yankees and Bernie Williams was playing. As a star stuck 3rd grader I was determined to get his autograph. I waited and waited after the game and when he finally came out of the locker room to leave he rushed right past all the waiting fans into his car without signing one ball. I had a diva moment and kicked his car as he got in.
19) What are your guilty pleasures?
Animal print, cheese, and 4am last call at bars (Buffalo perk)
20) Name five things you couldn’t live without?
Iphone, toothbrush, hairspray, country music, my Tempur-Pedic mattress
21) What do you want to be remembered for?
Someone who plays hard but works harder.
