Ok, now that I have gotten that off my chest: Stuff just got real!

The No. 8 seeded Fort Wayne Komets defeated the No. 1 seeded Reading Royals four games to one to advance to the semifinals. They began the semifinals against the Cincinnati Cyclones this past Friday. The Komets took game one when Christian Ouellet scored the game winner with seven seconds left in regulation. On Saturday, Cincinnati came back with a vengeance to defeat the Komets 5-2 in regulation. The series now comes back to Fort Wayne for the remaining three games.
The No. 6 seeded Wheeling Nailers defeated the South Carolina Stingrays four games to zero to advance to take on the Greenville Road Warriors. The Road Warriors defeated the Kalamazoo Wings four games to two and advanced to the semifinals. The first meeting between Greenville and Wheeling took place Saturday, May 3, at Wheeling. Greenville took the lead in the series by defeating Wheeling 7-3 in regulation. The next night Greenville once again defeated Wheeling 4-3 in overtime to extend their lead in the series.
